Here's the scoop. My car is puffing out a white possibly light blue smoke after I boost or rev it harder at idle. It wont smoke as I gas it, just after it idles down and I tap the gas again a puff of smoke comes out. I doesn't smoke by itself while idling only after boosting it. It smells kinda funky. I am not sure if its sweet like coolant, but it kinda reminds me of an old truck smell. I only noticed this after I installed my 3 in straight pipe which eliminated my cat. I checked for shaft play about two months ago which was before I modded it and it had zero play at all. Now I decided on checking it and it has about an 1/8 inch in and out play, no side to side. There is a thin layer of oil in the LICP. My valve cover breather hose is still routed to my intake. I am thinking shot turbo because mostly I hear that after turning up the boost and running it hard the T-25 will die pretty quick. Boost has been set at 15-16-17 psi since I installed the MBC about two months ago and it has seen a lot of track use. Mods are 2 1/2 in dp, 3 in after that w/o cat, Hallman Pro MBC, Blitz bov, Hacked air can, NGK plugs and wires, ACT 2100 clutch and I think that is it. I have tried to search, but most of the situations are not that of the same and nobody has posted what solved there problems so any help would be awesome.

Bad turbo shaft seals. Blue smoke is oil burning, white smoke is coolant burning, black smoke is excess unburnt fuel. Sounds like the turbo shaft seals are leaking and your burning off oil.

Replace your pcv first.
It sounds like the classic excessive crankcase pressure. However the turbo also sounds like it's going bad. Usually when the turbo's bad you'll alot more than a thin layer of oil though. More like a half quart. Replace the pcv, run it like you are and see if the smoking starts going away.
