I had to install a new alternator a week ago(auto zone, life warranty) and after, It ran great untill today, about 2 hours before it went out I could hear the fuel pump(walbro255) winning much louder than normal. Is it possible for a new Alternator to just go bad, could it have anything to do with the fuel pump. My logger says the Batt it is 10.6v

Check the voltage on the back of the alternator with a volt meter. You should be getting near 14v between the threaded stud and ground. Could be bad wiring or battery if the alternator is putting out decent voltage.

"""FIXED""" It ended up being the rebuilt alternator from O'riles went bad after a week of working fine..
Get this, THEY TRIED TO TELL ME IT WAS CHARGING FINE AT 11v. They really did not want to give me a new one under warranty. I argued untill they did.
