Edmonton,
So out of nowhere my greddy type s bov starts making this squelling noise under any boost. and espicially when i switch when it would normally be a normal greddy bov noise it sounds retarded. its like high pitched and very stupid sounding. and under low boost and low throttle where it would normally flutter it squeels once again. please help.

try tightening the adjustment screw on the top of it, if not u might have a leak. Is it affecting ur boost at all? u might wanna contact greddy and ask them, or see if u can find an exposed view and take it apart and check it all out.

it is common with those bov they blow out and once they do they start squealing and if you tighten them down you may start have compressor surge and you don't want that because you wont have a turbo after that just replace it thats the best thing to do right now...

check for boost leaks and try changing the adjustment of the bov, but dont tighten it too much. but def. make sure you make yourself a tester and test for boost leaks.

yeah ill rip it apart tommorow. see what happens. if anything ill just grab another one from someone in town. if not go with the ssqv... can hold more boost cant it?
