Alignment B.S.

Just put tires on car and got alignment. Stock rims and some tire kingdom specials daughter had put on when old ones started separating on a road trip.Car seems to drift slightly to the right now. So went back to have them do it again and they said my caster was bad and they cant do anything more to car. WTF? Don't no jack about this but sure sounds like B.S. Gonna call a reputable alignment place tomorrow and see what they say. Anybody got idea why car would drift?

i would definitely go somewhere else if you do not consider the first place "reputable". that said, if the car is bone stock it should be able to be aligned. even if it required shims. unless the car was curbed or hit one hell of a pothole that totally screwed up the suspension geometry.

No problems wih car hitting anything. Just think I got ripped off.

Always ask for an alignment print out. We may be able to make specific recommendations if we know the actual readings.

O.K. Ill try to write this out. left caster 3.01 , left front camber 0.23,left rear camber -0.68, left front toe 0.05, left rear toe 0.03, right caster 2.73, right front camber -0.33, right rear camber -1.03, right front toe -0.01, right rear toe 0.07, Total toe 0.04, Thrust Angle -0.02.... Now what that all means you got me? Gonna take it in a bit to place should have went to to begin with. Hopefully will get it fixed.

Just got back from weber wheel alignment. Swapped tires left to right, checked air and looked at alignment real quick and said O.K I was like what? Said it was tire steer thats all and no charge. It seems good especially for an old car. Weber Wheel is the bomb should have went there first. Daughter is off to college this week in the Talon but will be back for sponsored maint. I cant drive that car its like a go-cart and I speed just enough to get in trouble.
