Ok so i just got the intake today and as i took the old snorkel out i noticed there was a bolt in the medium sized hole that runs back to the vc but i have a vc vent breather on there so thats good for me..My real question is, is the very small nipple coming from the side of the pipe closer to the radiator, where does that go? It was not plugged or anything when i got the car and i was wondering if that could hurt performance?? My boost control solenoid has two lines coming from it. one is t'd off of the BOV line to the intake mani and the other goes to my wastegate...i do not kno if someone had a MBC hooked up at one time and did this but the lines just look really ghetto and there does not seem to be a spot for a hose to connect to the smallest nipple on the intake??? pictures would really help me out if you have them...Should i do away with the tee coming from the BOV line? and is that where it connects ??? ANy help would be spectacular!!

Thanks Everybody :dsm:

uh, my understanding of what you said is that you have your VC breather port just running an open element filter. Kinda messy, but whatever floats your boat.
The reason theres a port left open on your new intake pipe is becuase thats where your VC breather port is supposed to hook up to.

If you're cool with your breather filter the way it is, just get a napa vacuum plug for 30 cents at napa.
But do it soon, its no good having unmetered, let alone unfiltered air entering your engine. :thumb:

As for the small nipple on yoru itnake, closest to the rad, it should be capped too. Unless you have your stock BCS still connected, which it sounds like you don't.

In which case, what is controlling your boost? I think you're the one who needs to provide a picture so we can see exactly what you have going on under there :)

ok i just looked at it a minute ago... :thumb:

the bcs' top line runs to a tee in my bov line that runs to the intake mani
the bottom line runs to the wastegate on my 16g

hope this helps

thats not stock..at least I dont think so. My top BCS line went to my intake pipe (the small nipple) and the bottom went to a T at my actuator and compressor housing.

a pic, even camera phone would be really helpful here, unless someone else can envision exactly what the situation is.

i cannot find my usb thing to link up my camera...

if you could my aim name is streetdreams529

Thanks again

Here is how it should look man. Top nipple on the BCS goes to the intake tubing, the bottom nipple on the BCS goes to a T which splits to the wastegate and to the compressor housing of your turbocharger

Heres a pic

Home this helps!
