Heres the story, I went to the track to run my car today. It was running like a champ. The only problem i was having was it wasn't going into 2nd gear and the clutch was engaged. So i made more runs and it finaly started to go in. I was happy i ran a 13.18. One run after that i noticed a noise in my engine and thought it was my motor. My friends looked at it and we noticed it was comming from my tranny. IT sounds like something is lose and rattling around and sounds like something is almost grinding reving it up it gets louder. I found out its only with the clutch disengaged. So i need some advice what the problem is

could be the throwout bearing or maybe the flywheel bolts are backing out making hte flywheel loose. I woudl pull hte tranny out and see what it is? So your saying it only makes noise when you let the clutch out or push it in? if in i would check the TOB if it makes noise when driving then check your clutch a peice could have broken off.
