Heres the deal. Sometimes my car likes to die when I press the clutch in or after i'm driving for awhile and put it in neutral. I cant figure out the problem and my friend whose own 4 dsm's before cant figure it out. I even checked to see if the clutch lines were rapped around something just to see if i can find the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem and its an idle problem. Check for boost leaks and clean your TB. My ISC motor was acting up and that was causing it. Just fix all of the boost leaks and it should work. Might as well replace the BISS o-ring while your at it. PM me with any questions

Ive had the same problem before myself. I would recomend resetting the base idle speed following the procedure set forth in a chiltons manual. This involves resetting the isc and biss screw. I dont have mine in front of me but Im sure you have one or can pick one up at any auto supplier.

appreciate the advice. dumb question wats an ISC. and will a BISS screw work off of a NA 1G DSM. Sorry for the newb question havent had this problem before.

ISC is an idle speed controller. And yes, the biss(base idle speed screw) from a 1g n/t should work on the turbo.

you can use the biss screw along with the cam angle sensor to dial the motor in and get the idle that you would like.
