Here's the skinny, my alternator went bad I replaced it, then the alternator belt broke(during test drive). Right after it broke my car would run for a couple of seconds then shut down, so i gave up on trying anymore. I towed it home, replaced the belt go to start it and nothing, it cranked fine just no fuel or spark(not certain witch one) I mean is there a safety switch or something. I don't know. Please help, thank you.

if your not getting fuel or spark at the same time, then it is a problem with your ignition system, it could be the ecu, but i believe that there is a relay for this system, that controld fuel and spark, i would check that before replaciong the ecu

Crank or Cam Angle Sensor. I'm a 1g guy but I believe on your car has both a Cam and Crank Angle Sensor and I think the 97-99 only have the Crank Angle Sensor.
