Check my TDC pic... Does it look like it jumped a tooth?

My 2G car has been running for 3 weeks after a 1G CAS install (my Crank Angle Sensor broke, possible Cwalk). However, the way the car has been performing I believe its still in good shape specially with 200K miles on it. Anyway, car stalled at a light and does not start now. I've already checked spark, fuel and compression which are all present. I suspect timing and/or the timing belt may have jumped. Please let me know if this looks like it jumped a tooth. Thanks all.

It looks as if exhaust cam gear has jumped one tooth toward your intake cam gear making your timing marks a little low then straight thru the center of the cam gear screws.
How do the rest of your timing components line up?
 
I still need to check timing via timing light. However, can I'm not sure if I can do that just by cranking the car since it will not start. If so, don't I need to ground out some wire prior to adjusting the CAS. The picture on the VFAQ is not clear, I can only see it being around the battery area. Lastly, will the belt jumping one tooth cause it to not start at all? Any help is much appreciated.
 
the car will start with the cams off a tooth or so.my first t-belt job,my crank was off 6 teeth(it slipped and i forgot to reset it).it started,but backfired and sounded retarded.

At least a tooth. It's hard to tell because of the angle of the picture and no picture of the crank sprocket but it looks like the cams are off several teeth.

The only useful picture of cam timing is when the crank is lined up on it's mark and you have a good reference to where the cars are relative to the head/rocker cover mating surface.

You can't adjust the belt without taking it off, or at least doing everything that you would need to do to change it.

The problem happens to be the balance belt blew causing the cams to be several teeth off. While I was reading the VFAQ on the timing belt, I started to take apart my car and eventually did the whole job myself. Low and behold right when I pulled off the lower timing belt cover, pieces of belt started to fall off and all the timing marks were off. After lining everything up, tightened everything and didn't even have to take the engine mount off, I was all good. Car started fine. :D

50 trim, FMIC and the rest of my stuff goin in next. :rocks:
