I need to rebuild my bottom end..Spun a bearing..Do I need to pull the transmission when I pull the block?I already removed the head and intake.

The transmission bolts to the block and the the transmission input shaft plugs into the clutch (also attached to the block), so yes, it needs to be removed. On the 1Gs you can safely pull the engine/tranny out still attached (much easier), not sure if 2Gs are the same :confused:
