1g Wont Crank- What are the possibilities? I need help!

I just put a brand new act 2100 Clutch and findanza flywheel on a pretty much stock TSI FWD. I was Racing a Monte with no cats so I couldn't hear anything happen. But after I left my car was whining really loud at idle and throw the gears until it finally died. I pulled the timing belt cover off and the t-belt is still intact and tight. Could I have blown the coil pack? Anybody Have this problem? It sounded like I was SC for a mintue. Also the Crank is still spinning. I hope I didn't blow the motor! Any input is greatly appeciated!

I had a whine noise before I tore my engine apart. It turns out that it was the valves hitting the pistons. Check the timing to be sure you didnt skip a tooth.
