clutches

[TALON420a]

i went to the parts store today looking for a clutch, and got some prices for some reason my clutch was more expinsive then a turbo clutch.. does anyone know why this is??? and could i put a turbo clutch in my n/t talon???

yes they are different. Maybe you should just buy a ACT 2100 clutch kit. it will last longer and work better. They are cheaper than the ACT turbo versions.

do i need a 6 bolt or a 7 bolt??? and should i get a new flywheel also???

your non-turbo so i dont know what you need for a 420-A motor. probly a 7 bolt. flywheel is not needed, just get your resurfaced and stepped correctly for the new clutch.

Those clutches are for 4G63 and 4G37 engines only. They won't fit a 420a.
I wouldn't bother with an aftermarket performance clutch in a 2G N/T vehicle. Just get a standard clutch and be done with it.

the 4G37 is the 1.8L Engine, right? If so, they sell clutches for 2.0 NT dsm's.

Yeah, the 4G37 is the 1.8L, but what does that have to do with the Chrysler 420a 2.0L? The flywheel/clutch isn't the same?
