rotor scraping?

I dont think bad wheel alignment would make your rotor scuff. Have you checked your brake pads, caliper, rotor (for warpage).

A bad alingment alone will not do that.
But if you smacked something hard enough you could have jarred it enough to misaling something. But that usually includes a broken/snapped rim.

Alot of times your brake pads could just be worn all the way down to the metal, and is just scuffing up against the rotor. You could have did something to the caliper when u cracked your rim. Ive had my rotor scuff before, but it was a sticking caliper piston.
An easy way of figuring this out is to jack that side of the car up, and turn the wheel by hand and listen to where the sound is actually coming from. OR you could take the wheel off and inspect the rotor for scrapes and should be pretty simple to tell what is causing it.

Where on the rotor are the scrape marks? Are you sure it's the rotor or are you just guessing? Does the noise stop or change if you apply brakes? More details would be helpfull. Get down there and take a closer look if you have not already done so.

I figured out what was wrong when I got home, I jacked the car up, grabbed the wheel and it wobbled around. The guy who put hte axle on had put a non-turbo axle on it from the opposite side and stripped the axle bolt. the hub fell out of the knuckle that is why it wobbled around. It is pretty ####ed. I took it back to them yesterday to fix it right. Do you think I will need a new hub or could they press that some one back in there?
