prob with gas

I have a 1992 Eclipse with the motor outta a 1990 Galant(2.0) and the stupid thing is only running on the 1st 2 cylinders. 3 & 4 are firing but they aren't working right when the motor warms up and 4 chutes gas into the exhaust. any help on what it could be would be appreciated.

i won't tackle the engine that you have, but i will say that with any engine, these are the things that i see as being issues.
a) cylinders aren't firing because the plugs are bad, esp if unburnt fuel is entering the exhaust
b) non-working injectors?
c) damaged coil
d) lost compression, perhaps due to a headgasket issue?

do some tests to figure out if there are other things that might be part of the issue. make sure the regular maintenance has been attended to as well.

Sounds like an issue with the injectors not spraying properly
