Ok so i just had a Profec B2 installed. This thing is difficult to configure for someone who just wants to "set-n-forget" .. Anyhow we toyed with it last night for about a hour and half and we figured out how to get the boost set on it.
However, We cannot get the Boost from creeping. Even after turning the Profec off it should boost to around stock boost and stay there. With it turned off it hits 10psi and then creeps to about 16-18psi towards 5500Rpm and hits fuel cut

My mods are as followed.....

Buschur Racing 3" Turboback
Custom tubular o2 housing w/ atmosphere dump
K&N Filter Drop In
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump

Any suggestions on why this Creeping is accuring and what i can do to eliminate this??
BTW- I am on stock 14b turbo.

Thanks

Were you creeping before the EBC install? Was anything else done to the car?

We've done a decent amount to the car along with the install of the EBC.. Mainly maintance fixs..

New T-belt
New Tensionor
Removed BS
All new gaskets on lower half of motor
ARP head studs
All new Upper gaskets and seals

As for Mods those are the only mods i have done to the car (list above).
The car went from Bone Stock to this....
Boost wasnt creeping before to answer your question.

None of the mods you listed above would have anything to do with boost creep. I suggest instead of just turning the EBC off, physically bypass it and run the pressure source directly to the actuator and see what happens. Are you sure you were running with the 3" exhaust without any creep before the EBC installation? Did you have a MBC and what boost were you running?

Yep, what he said. Sounds like your wastegate signal is leaking.

It hits 10psi for a breif moment and then starts creeping up to about 16-18psi towards redline and hits fuel cut... GRRRRRRR

I done all this work and mods at one time. I never drove the car on stock exhaust with more boost then stock.. :(

Any Other Suggestions??

Exactly as oldman wrote: try running a direct signal to the wastegate just as it would be without a boost controller. If the boost creep is still there, then you're probably having the problem typical of an under-sized stock wastegate and should look at enlarging it as much as possible up to and including a larger flapper seal. If the boost creep is gone, then you're probably looking at a signal loss problem between your wastegate and the boost controller. You'll need to do at least this much isolation for your problem before any further suggestions can be made.

1. If you're hitting fuel cut on a 14b and stock fuel system then you probably have some serious boost leak. Are you sure it's not just bogging.

2. You have just confirmed you have boost creep and you will have to decide which way to approach the problem, external wastegate or porting. Do a search on both subject and read up as much as you can, come back and ask questions if needed.

When possible, always try to do one thing at a time or group them into related items, it will make troubleshooting much more simple.
