My car is now making this weird squeeking sound from what seems to be the driver side wheel area. It tend to squeek when I tap the steering whell right or left when I am trying to keep going straight. It stops when I take a turn but comes back on the straights.
Things I have ruled out are dragging brakes because it doesn't make any of this noise when I start braking, lower ball joints just had them replaced with the recall. I am thinking of going and just lubing up the chassis and see if that helps, but does anyone know what could be wrong? And anyone have a page that would tell me how to lub up the chassis? Thanks!

Its most likely 1 of 2 things. Either its time for struts or time for bushings. there are lower control arm bushings that tend to start sqeeking when they get old. Struts also tend to sqeek and grumble when they get old. Try squirting your bushing spots ( control arms and swaybar ) with some WD-40 or some bike chain lube is good too. Triflow chain lube, good stuff. That will temperarly eliviate the noise. Unless it is your struts. then you just have to replace them.
