I just installed my boost gauge over the weekend since I now have an electronic boost controller. I noticed that the boost gauge indicates that I'm holding 16+ PSI. The only mods I have are exhaust, intake, ic piping. Does this seem accurate or is my gauge toast? I've had it for a while. The initial spike in boost pegs the gauge past 20 PSI. I'm just trying to figure out whats going on before I hook up the boost controller. Any ideas?

I had the same problem, it would spike to 20-21 psi, then fall to 16, then sometimes start creeping up again. I was on the stock BCS. I tried hooking the vac line from turbo directly to the wastegate, this was supposed to limit the boost to 11 psi, but instead it held a good 14.5 steady. Now i never have spike or creep at all. Worth a try. :dsm:
