iight so check it out.
my clutch pedal starts to get soft and starts stick to the floor. i replace slave and master cylinders. i also upgrade to a spec stage 3 cuz my clutch starts to slip real bad.
everythings fine for 2k miles. lately i notice my clutch pedal pressure is soft.
today im on main st and my clutch pedal completly sticks to the floor. i got it back into first gear and i give it full throttle and get it into second gear like i was racing to see if my clutch was slipping at all. the clutch itself is fine, no slippage. so now the problem has got to be in the system. this is bs cuz i just got a new slave and master cylinder 2k miles ago. what do u think could be causing this? the only good thing about this is that the shop that installed my slave/master cylinders will replace them for free if they mess up within 1 year. but do you guys have any conclusions to this bullsh$t? :dsm:

Double check the master and slave, then check the actual pedal assembly. Some 2Gs were shipped without the plastic bushing on the pivot (there to prevent wear), and over time can groove into the mounting bracket, causing soft-release shift and pedal sticking problems.

I don't envy you if it's that, man... it's a stone PITA to get the assembly out to fix it.. and the fix itself is a hackjob, if you don't want to shell out for a new assembly.

do you guys think it might be crankwalk? a friend of mine said it probably is since ive recently replaced my slave and master cylinders. he said its probably sticking to the floor because the crankshaft is out of spec. the only reason im not to scared of this problem is because my car is under warranty. could this be crankwalk? :barf: :toobad:

any other opinons on what u guys think it is? i need ideas where to start. any suggestions are welcome.

I had the same problem. Bleed your clutch...mine is still leaking and I am hobbling around town for now...i have to fill the resivoir every time before I go anywhere after it has been sitting. So try to rebleed your slave cylinder.

well i replaced my clutch master cylinder today but it still feels soft. you think i should bleed it? will that make my pedal feel firm? it feels really soft right now but not how it used to. any other ideas guys?

Make sure you bleed it correctly too, I had this issue and it was cause the shop bled it backwards...i.e. filled it through the reservior and pumped, instead of putting the bleeder valve in the container of brake fluid.

P.S.: would everyone stop assuming its crankwalk FOR everything?! I'd suspect EVERYTHING else before crankwalk, that'd be last on the list.
