ok so heres the deal, i just recently put brand new 6-bolt in the car. 0 miles. nothing leaked when i got the car back, it ran perfect. but over the last few days i noticed a few oil spots under the car. today did an oil change car now has 1000miles on it and now i noticed that oil is coming out of the exhaust, looks like right before the flex pipe. what would cause this?

Could you have a leak from the oil pan gasket that's dripping down onto the exhaust?

Unless you get blue smoke out the tailpipe, you don't have oil actually in the exhaust, luckily.

Some shops will forget to run a bead of silicone sealant around the lip of the oil pan, or to gasket/bead the oil drain plug after an oil change. Try to jack it up, look for wet spots on the engine or pan.

Where'd you get the new engine, by the way?

nope no blue smoke. i will jack up the car tomorrow after work and see whats going on under there. i acutally got the engine from a guy in town that has built a couple 11-12sec dsms so i knew i was in good hands letting him do the swap. well when i get this proplem fixed ill let ya know, thanks guys.
