I just installed my to4B V-trim this last weekend. I went out for a drive and I started to boost it and it felt pretty slow for building boost, all of the sudden the car just took off like a rocket at 15 psi. It just seems funny that it is not a gradual increase like it should be while boosting I am pretty new to turbo cars and have no clue what the problem is. I rechecked all of my intercooler pipes have a boost leak tester and I am testing for leaks tomorrow but this problem dosent seem to be a boost leak problem since it finally screams when it hits around 15-17 psi. Any Ideas would be very appreciated. Thank you all for your time and reading my post.

All depends on how fast you build to 15. Turbo lag still exists... you won't feel it for about two or three seconds, then it'll slap you in the face. Or back of the head, really. :)

Leak test. First problem that needs ruling out. Pressurize to 20psi, and check that it'll hold it for around 20-30 seconds. A mechanic's stethoscope is INCREDIBLY useful while doing this, if you hear a hiss, and need to check in closer to pinpoint it.
