And lots of them. The car is pretty much stock, most free mods, permormance air filter, new plugs......

Any one have this happen before? What was it from?

It happened when I was going up a slight hill at 50 miles per hour, in cruise control. Car felt fine til it started bucking and backfiring. I quickly pulled over and then resumed driving as the car felt perfectly fine once again. Freakin wierd i tell ya....... and it was only 65 degrees outside.

The spark could be arcing out of those new wires or out of your coil packs to a nearby metal surface. Check at night to see if you have a little spark running around those areas. Use a little spray bottle of water it helps to make the spark jump out of the wire.

Found it. One of the wires is arcing in 4 different places off the wire to the valve cover. Time for some new wires.

Thank you staytuned.
