lethbridge,
hey all, okay i'm putting my engine back together after some much needed corrosion removal and i have to say a DSM engine bay looks pretty sweet after the rust and corrosion is gone!! anyways i had the CAS sensor off and since its been off the spindle has probably been played with and spun around a few times. my question is:
1. does it matter what point the spindle on the CAS is relative to the cam slots that it fits into?
2. is it possible to have the sensor being 180 degrees out?
3. is there a way i can tell which is the right way to put the sensor back in?
4. will it damage the engine or affect the operation of the engine if it is "theoretically" 180 degrees out?
starting engine tomorrow so i would like any information you smart, hardworking, dedicated (need i go on)...........awsome DSM'ers!!
thank you.
Jason.
