car wll not rev past 4k

like the title said my car can't go past 4k rpm

i cant find any thing in a search ....so maby a link can help

Had a similar problem once... In neutral, and driving, car would not rev very high at all.

Ended up being the caps on the ECU..

Have you checked that?
Also, could possibly be the Timing.

i replaced the caps on the ecu 2 weeks ago im going to buy a good one any other ideas
