So, I'm driving down the highway today with the revs around 3k or higher for a good 10 minutes and I get a shitload of smoke out the exhaust (white), and it starts leaking like crazy. I immediately pull over and most of the oil leaked out under the cooler from right behind the filter. The filter had come loose, and the oil lines running around there seem to be mushy, like they almost melted. There is oil all over the front driver side of the engine bay.

Any ideas or other questions guys? My buddy told me it could just be a plug somewhere because all the feed/return line for the turbo are fine.

Well thanks for all you guys who tried to help.

Anyway, the oil cooler had a chunk taken out of it and was finished. The shop I got it towed to had a used DSM oil cooler sitting on the shelf so I got it for free. I just had to pay labor.
