Hey guys i did my b shaft elim. now i have getting a funny whine from my car on that side (sounds like a belt is to tight but i checked and all are adjusted properly) my dad and i think its the timing tensioner pully but any other ideas would be helpfull cause i only want to tear in to it once and get the problem fixed (note its a 1990 Eclipse GST) and on a side note my friend and i were trying to figure out if just pulling the Balence shaft belt off would do the same as the Eliminator kit so just a side question for ya guys Thanks Again for All the Help :dsm:

The rear balance shaft would still be rotating -- Mitsubishi designed engines that have a front and rear balance shaft. OR no balance shaft, they never designed the engine to have one balance shaft.

But don't listen to me I am a idiot!!

Also -- double check your alternator belt is fitting in all the grooves on all three pulleys.. A dark night and you might not be able to tell if the belt is off 1 groove rubbing on the alternator. (mine squealed)
