I have just had the motor in my 90 gsx rebuilt from the head gettin redone from valve stem seals, exhaust valves and it was cleaned.

The block was compleatly toren down to a bare block I bought new stock pistons, the rings are new the block had to be bored over .50 ordered a new front case a complete rebuild kit from conicelli a while back. Also has a balance shaft removal kit in it as well.

Now my problem, The car has only 40 miles on it and I have a massive leak around the front case area. we have took off the timing cover looked and didnt see the much oil anywhere, all the belts but the timing belt started the car with it jacked up the wheel was off and nothing no leaks. so we decided to but all the belts back on no timing cover car still jacked up in the air started the car and still no leaks. So we were stunned so we put everything back on the car and said lets see if it leaks when I drive it on the street. I am still breaking in the motor so when I come to stops sometimes I down shift.
Well sure enough I drive it for 5 miles and it leaks live a sive.

Does anyone have any ideas because i am just about done.

when you put in the balance shaft removal kit did you block off the hole for the balance shaft tensinor pully. circled in pink ...if you dont put a short bolt in there with some RTV sealant that could cause your oil leak

Did you actually Blank the Front BS Cog hole? - or leave the Front BS in? If you leave the front BS in & forget to slide the Sleeve over the Shaft behind the Cog then there is nothing to mate with the Front BS Shaft Oil Seal.

& I put a washer & a short Bolt with RTV to Blank the BS Belt Tensioner hole.

yea i have a friend that is going to get me some.
