I recently bought a 95 talon tsi with broken timing belt..I had all 16 valves replaced when head was at machine shop. All new belts, arp bolts, cosmic metal head gasket and brand new Big 16g..Now that my car is running. The boost is out of control.I manage to bring down the boost to 7psi..At any boost my car shutters and pops and bangs in the intake. What do I need next?Kinda sucks..All the threads I have read say that for all the stuff I have the car should run the same..Do I need any thing else?IC pipeing is all metal with a HKS blow off valve.Car runs fine as long as I shift b4 turbo spools up to fast..While in boost it pulls hard but shutters..Please help B4 I throw more money into the pit...I did replace the fuel filter also which seemed to work alot better. But still has the shutter..

Who put the timing belt on? Sometimes what happens is the oil pump sprocket gets put on backwards. The way you tell is there is a hole in the back of the block. You unscrew the bolt and stick a screwdriver up there. If it fits in its on right. If it doesnt fit in its on backwards. When that happens it does shutter at high rpms. How high does it run before it starts to shutter on yours. 4-5 grand is pretty common.

I had a pretty good mechanic friend do all the work so far..He assures me that all timing is correct.Ever time I tell him some to check he get all bent out of shape.I don't remember at what rpm. When I first got it back the boost was off the wall..Like pinned my boost gauge. After he did way with my waste gate solinod and put in MBC.Boost is down to 7psi to 10psi.
