air intake temp malfunction need help

my 95 gst with a 1g swap i cant seem to find out why i am getting a air intake temp malfunction code. I changed my mas air flow where the air intake sensor is and i still get the code it makes my car idle rough at and is messing up my fuel mix because of the temp
i have had the problem ever sense i bought the car so it not any thing i did when i put the 1g in.

what exactly is the problem symptoms? my car sometimes starts rough, but the problem that i am having is that it runs fine COLD, but once i start giving it some gas and the engine temps start to heat up, my timing is pulled like crazy. are these the same problems that you are having?

It is like that but my temp does not go up. My timing is all over the place and is making my car run really rich then real lean. I went through 2 set's of piston's because of it. I can not figure out how to fix it. I have the service manuals. so I looked through them found the wiring diagram went over my car it look's like the wires run in to my tps. and my idle speed sensor before it goes to my ECU. it might be in those 2 sensors but I don’t no. All of my wires are connected good. ????????????????????????????????????????
