hella oil leak problem,quick question

as i was pulling out of driveway this morning i noticed hella oil spot, thought it might have been from my moms car since she was just over, but im not that lucky :thumbdown

i looked in the obvious places, drain plug, oil lines for the turbo, found nothing. then i noticed the catch can ( purolator clear gas filter) i put inline from the intake to the valve cover to keep oil outta my intake tract was full, if that line gets sealed would that cause pressure in the valve cover to spew oil out of the nearest exit?

car is 97 tsi awd 5 speed, only mods are full exhaust , intake and mbc.

Maybe...? Did it fill up all of the sudden? or did you forget to empty it?

it isnt "full" but it had quite a bit more than the last time i looked at it. i tried blowing through the end and i couldnt feel air on the other end so it was definatly clogged.

I'd replace it. That's prolly yer problem right there.

yeah, i just got done bypassing it , got some cardboard under the car now to see if its still leaking......thanks
