Sudbury,
Hey everyone, its freezing here in Canada lately but my car is kept in a garage so its not too bad.

Anyways, first problem I'm having is everytime I do a cold startup after sitting 4+ hours I can hear this wierd sound (described as: put some screws on the floor and vacuum them up, kinda noise) coming from the front. It lasts about 1 second if that.

Second thing, I'm not sure if it is just the cold or an actual problem. My clutch seems really mushy and if I have it in neutral and just drop/release the clutch very quickly it feels like it sticks half-way for a split second.

Any input on this would be great. I've done some research and it can either be master/slave cyl or not. Thanks again.

1. Have some one start the car with the hood open, see if you can locate where the noise is coming from.

2. Check the clutch fluid level, check for leaks, bleed the system.

I just had the same problem. Looked at my clutch fluid and there was none. Refilled it with DOT3 Brake Fluid and started it back up and found a leaky hose. Replaced it and my clutch is back to normal.
