Will a 2g TPS work on a 91

does it have 3 wires?? all green, one with black stripe, one with red stripe, one with white(??? i think that one is white) anyway... i would guess so... i just got done swapping TB's on my 1g... the TPS was a newer style with those 3 wires... and i would guess if the wires are the same you should be good to go

I understand that the 2G TPS will work on a 1G but the 1G will not work with the 2G.

It "should" bolt up, I dont know if it will clear the fuel rail or not, but if it does and you can aquire the 2g plug for the tps you "could" cut/splice wires and make it work... I'd just find another 91-94 sensor if it was me though...

isn't the only difference between the two that the 2G reads closed throttle as well? they basically look the same, and if all of the other connections are the same, then it should work. there just won't be a wire for the 3rd(?) prong on the TPS. I'm really not sure, just guessing here...
