I Cant Figure it out! HELP!

Well i have a big16g on stock injectors and a 255lph FP and the stock SMIC. I was driving home last night and It was decently cold out. I went WOT to see if it would studder like it usually does with it hits about 16-17 psi (Boost Creep) I always thought it was fuel cut but then last night the car jerked hard like fuel cut but then i saw a flame shoot out of my exhaust from my drive side mirror. Is it possible to shoot flames whyle hitting fuel cut? I have had this problem before. Can anyone figure this out without guessing?
 
No i dont have a afpr but a b16g that creeps to 16-18 psi on stock injectors wouldnt run that rich.
 
Well I don't really know if it would or not because I'm running the 255. However I do know for sure that 255 will over run the stock fpr, as to whether it will run so rich to the point of spitting fire, some one else would have to pitch in.

Check to make sure your power transistor is plugged all the way in. I was having a studdering problem I couldn't figure out. One day on the way to work, I went WOT, and the car studdered way worse than normal, and started running like crap. After I pulled into a parking spot I figured out that cylinder's 2 and 3 weren't fireing. I started fiddleing with the wires near the power transistor and the car started idleing good again. While all this was happening a co-worker came up and said I was shooting huge flames out my tale pipe.

Basically what happened was, the transistor came part way unplugged so I was only running on 2 cylinders. The fuel injectors where still injecting to those two cylinders and the unburnt fuel was igniting in the exhaust system.

I zip-tied the harness to the transitor so it couldn't move or come undone. The studder is gone and I haven't had any problems since.
 
On my car I have a S-AFC, hacked can, K&N, test pipe, and a MBC @ 16 psi, and I have the car tuned a little rich on the dyno.. Anyhoo, sometimes if I go WOT it will pull hard then backfire really loud.. Its not like fuel cut where the car dies, it will just backfire really loud.. Im not sure what it is either, but it doesnt do it often, sounds cool, and hasnt hurt anything so far... I just ignore it.. :thumb: :talon:
 
dosn't matter if you have a bigger turbo your fuel is going to run the same way, if you have a 255 fuel pump it is going to push more fuel but it is going to run really rich cuz you are pushing more fuel than stock so it is flooding the motor with fuel. get a safc or fpr or somthing to mellow it out, i had a stock tsi and it did bog and it took me a while to figure out what it was and it was my was my fuel filter, but i gurantee you are running to rich.
