Help car sputtering at boost!!

Today i was driving my car and decided to push it a little hard. Practicing on how to launch. well when i was done i was driving normal for a while. then go on the on ramp to the freeway push it the it sputtered on second while i was pushing it. It tripped me out. went to the side of the road and opened the hood. man it looked like evrything was fine. well tried to get on it and bogged out when i was gonna hit boost. so i cant get past 3.5k without sputtering. I pushed it hard to see and it will get to about 5psi then just sputter hard. i checked the spark plugs and they were fine. the car runs perfectly fine without hitting boost. only sputters when imma about to hit boost. what can it be?

hey my car did that and there are a couple things to check

1. timing- your timming has to advance as you use the turbo, if its out you will get sputtering if it is

2. your timing belt- ensure its still tight, could have skipped a tooth, a friend of mines did that, it's rare but it happens

3. coil pack. - now heres a problem that i've never heard anybody else having. a while ago on my 1st gen talon my coil pack developed a pin size crack on the outer shell of the coil pack, that allowed the spark to arc to the intake manifold, but it only seemed to do it when i was about to have the turbo spool up, it sounded like a cylinder was missing and that was essentially what was happening. i was only able to find the problem by having my friend rev the engine and watching in the dusk sunset a small flash, realising what that was i put a sheilded screw driver near the crack and sure enough as my engine was idleing i could see the spark acr from the crack, to the screw driver and to the intake manifold. as a temporary fix i put a few layers of electrical tape on top of the crack until i could find a replacement part. but eventually the spark was able to get through the tape. to remove the coil pack there are 4 bolts and 3 of them are easy, one throught the top of the intake manifold, 2 are on the side closest to the timing belt and the fourth one is the hardest being in between in the space between the top and bottom the intake manifold you can access it by using an extension with a 12mm i believe and sticking it through the space on the side and basically by trial and error.

Yup found it. I guess my licp wasnt liking my boost so one of the clamps blew off. it was still in tact but when boost was about to hit the air will leak through the rubber hose.

Well it was yesterday night wich really sucked. i was on the side of the freeway. thinking i blew a spark plug, but then i drove it and saw it only happens when im about to hit boost. I checked it at night and everything looked plugged in right, so i wanted someone else to see it (big mistake).

I was with my friend June which she knew a guy with a 13 sec turboed hatch on slicks. Which he said he used to drive a gst which he said are crap cars. but ok i pop my hood he takes a look at it, and right away he critices my car. Said "why are you recirculating? that is worthless only people who autocross should have it like that, its only to keep your turbo spinning and blah and blah"
(touches and checks my maf) "your boosting too much, these cars are only good up to 14psi, (i have it set at 15) it cant handle anything more than that, your probably boosting like 18 or 20 and your car cant handle it, early detonation you need internals and blah blah blah" then he said (which got me pissed) "im surprised you havent crankwalked your engine" (i was like WTF?)
At the end he said "just hook your stock boost controller and it should fix it." So it basiclly helped me ZERO.
So this morning i looked at it clearly and found it.

Sounds like you buddy has no idea what he is talking about. Hope you didnt listen to any of his "advise"
