hey guys quick question.
can I take my head off with the intake manifold still on? is the bracket on the back of the intake manifold also bolted to the block? realy I just don't to have to rip my whole engine out to change my head gasket. thanks

yup, unbolt it.

yeah there should just be 2 bolts on the bottom bracket...I would highly recomend leaving it on while removing the head...I took mine off before I removed the head and $hit was it a PITA

Yea i did my head gasket this summer...i was so happy to install it back together with it on one piece (both manifolds and head) ...saved a lot of time...i wouldn't know how to otherwise...
