It's my bone stock 1991 Talon N/A 5spd, not the Eclipse. I just got it last month, drove it about an hour out of town the day after I got it, stopped for gas, wouldn't start. Came back the next day to pick it up, fired right up. Drove it the rest of the 2 hours home, wouldn't start when I got home. Drove it home for x-mas, 4 hours or so, shut it down in the drive way, tried starting it, wouldn't start. I also blew a cv joint when I drove on to my street. Just got the axle fixed. Drove it around in the morning, started 4 times or so, then just wouldn't start again. It's obviously something electrical, but I was wondering if anyone had a guess as to what it would be. Loose ground, starter, relay, what? When i've had starters go out before, they gradually got more tired, not just ranomly wouldn't work, so I dunno if that's it. Any ideas would help.

When it doesn't start, it doesn't crank at all, I don't hear the starter click (doesn't mean it isn't, i just don't hear it).

Thanks

when you try to start it up listen from a clicking from the ECU (in the firewall). If you don't hear that then it might be your ECU/MPI relay. I would also check for loose ground connections. My money is on a loose ground wire.
