Alright I was installing somethign last night and I had to pull the battery. Well after i reconnnected everythign and I tried turning on the stereo this stupid message appears that says "code". I have the stock infinity stereo found in a 97 GSX. Whats the deal?

It's an anti-theft for the radio so people don't steal it, don't ask me why I don't know who would even bother to steal a factory radio. Your probably going to have to go to a :dsm: dealer and have them fix it, that is if you don't have the code. I'm guessing you don't have the code since you're asking what this is though. When you get the code from the dealer write it down somewhere and don't lose it.

Well shouldn't I alrdy have the code somewhere in liek one of my car manuels that came with the car. How can they expect people to call them everytime that u have the battery disconnected?

Nevermind you can find the code on a card that you get when you buy the car. Thanks for the help though, card found problem solved.
