My friend just bought a 93 Talon TSi awd. It is slightly modded, nothing special though. But the clutch is not engaging. The previous owner said it just needed to be bled, but we did that and it didnt help. It does not engage in forward gears at all, but slightly does in reverse. What other things could cause this besides a fried clutch? Bad release bearing? Bent clutch fork? Just want to figure things out before we go dropping the tranny. Thanks in advance! :talon:

Check the pedal assembly for play. If you're sure there are no leaks at all. (ie. low fluid level) Also make sure you're bleeding with correct method.

No leaks at all. Holds the fluid fine and I followed the tutorial somewhere. We put the car on jack stands and put it in gear and it did not silp or feel like it was slipping. What are symptoms of a bad slave cylinder?
