Delco, PA help please!

My car has been in the shop for 5 weeks now. Every time I call, the guys says he will work on it tomorrow, but never does. He worked on it the first week and didnt get the timing belt right. Its been sittting in the same spot in the back lot ever since ( i drive by every day). Tomorrow morning, im taking it out of the shop. Am i legally bound to pay for whatever labor they did even though they didnt fix the problem? I dont think so, but i just want to know what you guys think.

On another note, I want to bring it home to align the timing marks and see if that is the problem. Is there anyone in Delaware County PA that could help me out? Id be glad to give them money, a case of beer and lunch if they did. I tried to do the timing belt myself but i couldnt get the lines exactly matched up. They shifted when i went to tighten it up. Any help would be appreciated.

I live in delco, but i have no experience with that shit. I would reccomend J&Z Tuning on Philly. My neighbor also has a performance shop in Claymont, DE. I will be there tuesday dropping my car off for a turbo upgrade. If you send me all the information, I can ask him if he wants to look at it or has any idea.

Thanks man. I was gonna take it to J&Z but they are about an hour away, arent they? I'm kind of skeptical of shops now and i dont want to take it to just anybody. I dont know why this place its at now is screwing me, but i guess not all places are like that.

I think i'm going to try it on my own again. I was just wondering if anyone who had experience with the timing belt had any free time. Thanks again man.

whats not lining up the cam marks or the ones on the crank.

cam marks arent lining up. The problem is that the marks could meet at about three or four places, but im not sure which is the absolute spot. i'm getting the car from the shop tomorrow and putting it in my driveway.

spendone, i might be able to get a warm workplace this upcoming weekend. I work in a woodshop, and it has heat and plenty of space. I'll ask my boss tomorrow and see what he says. I'm sure it'll be okay. We have air and i'll just have to bring my tools along. The shop is in Aldan kinda near glenolden and ridley. The zip is 19018. I'll find out for sure tomorrow during work.
