I am having problems with my HKS turbo timer!
I have a type-1....
It was working fine a couple of days ago.
I changed to battery of my car, and now the turbo timer will not work.
It turns on and everything... But when I switch my car off it does not keep the car on...
The turbo timer starts counting down but the car turns off...
I have looked at the TT harness everything seems fine...
Could someone let me know if they have had a similar problem and what the resolution was?
Is the TT bad or are the wires bad?

Any suggestions, Let me know...

Thanx

thats a godd question. my greddy tt is doing the same thing. i dont want to steal the thread but i figured why start another one. also mine isn't adjusting anymore. it used to adjust and stay running longer after running harder. please help us out with some answers great wise ones

LOL im in the same boat guys.........las month alternator was dying so i changed it and got my battery charged....i have a greddy and i had it on voltemeter mode......but now it reads my rpms and judges by that........i mean i cant complain its way better cuz its more accurate i mean even tho mine still functions properly it isnt the same as when i 1st got it...the best thing to do is look thru ur manual there should be a way to master reset the tt :talon: Monty :talon:

I not only swapped the battery, I swapped the alternator too...
Just like you i jus 8 ur vtec.....

Now I do not know what is going on....
Wish someone had this experience and fixed it.
So they can enlight me!

On the bottom or back of the turbo timer this is a pin sized reset button. Just reset the turbo timer and it should go right back to normal. I had this before once to and the reset fixed all the probs.

like i sed b4 marvin look in ur manual there might be a way to master reset it......whether it be a reset pin or something like holing every button down for 15 seconds or something

Allright did not read about the manual part, Sorry....
Will look at the manual!

Well looked at the manual, did a master reset.
But it is still giving me same problems...
When I switch off the TT counts down, but the engine turns off....

I guess the TT itself is bad...I think....
