Manifold not fully bolted on? Ill effects? Need help quick!

Im going tomorow to look at a 1991 talon tsi awd, the guy says he's been driving it with 2 of the exhaust manifold studs broken, and it wont spool. Im sure it will be fine once the manifold is bolted down as far as the spooling part goes, but im worried that driving the car with an improperly sealed manifold at the head causing problems. please give insight!!

well that could be a the spooling problem.. there could be a couple reasons. if the price is right go for it..

as far as the studs dont worry about it.. when you get the car home spend a couple days remove the turbo and radiator and mess and drill out the broken studs and use a heli coil and fix em up..

well what im worried about is the valves. whats the likelyhood that thirty miles of driving the car with the turbo manifold barely sealed to the head burning the valves?
