I own a 96 Eclipse N/A. This just started yesterday, with no warning. Anytime I try to stop or slow down slow enough to take a turn the motor just dies. I had to keep my foot on the throttle at stop lights to keep it alive. If it doesn't die the RPM's just plunge to almost 0 and then quickly pick up and idle normally. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
And I sure don't know much about new cars. I was wondering if it was something to do with it needing tuned or something. I have only owned it for a month and it's got about 90,000 miles on it. I just drove it again and when it tried to die I hit the gas and it would idle like normal.
