risng rate or non-rising rate afpr???

well im gonna be buying an afpr soon and i need to know if i need a rising rate fpr or a non rising rate fpr? also i have a 2g do i set the pressure at 43.5 psi with the vac line disconnected and then connect the vac line it should read like 35 or something like that? my main concern is the non rising and rising rate question becasue i wanna make sure i but the right one. thanks

Rising rate. Why do you need a fpr? Is your current one broken?

no its not broken but i have a walbro 255 and it over flows the stock regulator and making my car super rich. my car has a 1.02 O2 voltage. plus i can see the black smoke. my stock tsi has a voltage of .92 so i know its to rich.

You def. want a rising rate regulator so that your fuel pressure ramps up with boost pressure.


You have the procedure for setting the base pressure correct.
