O.k. I've had this car in my shop for two weeks now the car was kind of thrown into my lap but here's the deal. Car came in last week with a no start problem. The car kept blowing the main ECU fuse and I found out that the valves in the head were bent too. So I ripped the head off had it sent out and re-done. I have re-installed the head and went to go start the car but the car start. I hear a poping noise and smoke coming out of cycl. # 2 and #3 injector holes. Check timing... timing is dead perfect , checked compression to make sure I didn't mess anything up, compression is perfect , checked ALL the fuses. Fuses are good.
Checked for spark. the coil pack that controls cycl. # 1 and #4 is firing but the coil pack that controlls cyclinder #2 and #3 is not firing. Everything is getting power and everything is ground I've used a volt meter and traced almost every wire for the coil pack system everything is good I haven't found a break in the harness yet. The other strange thing is before it was blowing ecu fuses when the head had bent valves but now the fuses aren't blowing. but when I hook a scan tool up too it, the scan tool tells me it can't communicate with the ECU's I tried swaping ecu's still same problem. I'm to the point were if I missing something it's cause I'm looking to hard into it so I could use some outside advice. Most people say " it sounds like your timing is off " I'm telling you guys timing is perfect and if it wasn't perfect then the compression wouldn't be so good. I could use any ideas or help thank to anyone that can help me.
