Testing the power transitor

Whats the proper way to test the power transitor? For both '90 and '91. I don't trust my chilton.

why do you not trust your chilton? i used that method and it seems to work fine....a bit of a pain in the ass, but it works

The chilton I have is for both 1g and 2g. Under the testing section they have separate instructions for '90, '91, and '92-'93. I was under the impression that '91-'94 were the same, plus not listing the '94 and 2g specs put dought in my mind. I ended up figuring out which pins to test by looking at a wiring diagram I got off the internet.

and if you go to take out the coil pack chiltons says there are three bolt holding it, and there are four. took me awhile to figure that one out.
