I'm not sure what is going on but the fuel pump was working today until I was trying to wire up the coolant temp wire that came off the car. While I was trying to crank the car I could hear the fuel pump working for about the 20th time or so trying to start the car. Then all of a sudden I hear a click and I no longer hear the fuel pump. I have checked all the fuses in my car including the MPI fuse and everything is ok. I have made sure all the connectors in the back where the fuel pump connects to is secure. I have taken out the ECU and inspected it and do not see any burn spots or anything like that. So I'm not sure if the problem is with the pump itself or maybe a wiring issue somewhere else. Anyone have this happen before? I have a Walbro high flow so I know when it's working or not.

took out the battery and then reinstalled it and make sure everything is on tight, still same problem. NO fuel :(

ok, found out how to test my fuel pump and it's pumping so is there any other things that I need to check?

I think its your ECU still The exact same thing happened to me

Is your check engein light on the whole time

check engine light turns on and then shuts off. I did the fuel pump rewire mod and now I'm getting fuel. :D

sounds like you had a bad MPI relay(the one under your console)or a short in the wiring going to the pump...oh well all is fixed and you upgraded along the way :thumb: If ya have any smoke comming from your harness going to your pump later down the road...trace back the wiring and ripp it out due to a short....glad your car is running again bro
