Well, I bought rod bearings, a wheel bearing, a clutch, a full engine gasket set, rings, and a new water pump. I didn't check the compression on my engine before I bought the rings, I just assumed it was bad.... OMG

Well, I checked the compression and it was 145-150 all the way across. I am so happy that I don't have to tear my engine apart. But anyway, I put new rear main and oil pan gasket. The oil pan, crank, and connecting rods were as clean as could be. The car has 167,000 on the clock, so I assume the engine has been replaced, and thank GOD they put another 6 bolt back in it. Tomorrow night I'm going to put the water pump, timing belt, balance shaft belt, and the rest of the gasket that are needed back on. So far all good news....

A few days ago, my clutch pedal sunk the rest of the way to the floor. Every since I've had the car the car would slightly roled with the pedal on the floor, and me giving it gas. But, now it's even worse, so I ordered the new clutch kit. The old clutch looked good, but the tranny was chattering (maybe the throughout bearing). The tranny done fine (except 2nd gear syncro) until the pedal pressure left.

The adjustment on the clutch was all the way out, should I put a longer bolt on the clutch cylinder or could I have other problems elsewhere in the linkage??
Thank you for the help.

My slave and master cylinder don't seem to be leaking, but I'll look into buying a rebuild kit or just replacing both of them. Thank You for your help. I'll let everyone know what the problem was whenever I get it fixed. thanks again :thumb:

Well if their not leaking then do mess with them. But make sure they aren't leaking. Are you peeling back to boot to expose the rod? Either cylinder can appear to be dry and clean from the outside, but the boot itself can seal the fluid off. On my 90GSX the slave was like that. When I inspected it, it looked fine from the exterior, once I peeled the boot back, it was like a water fall.
