no noise before head rebuilt now ticking?

Recently pulled engine replaced all gaskets and had head machined 3 angle valve job, the car has more horespower you can feel and it runs better but the ticking started and i know the notorious lifter tick but it didnt do it before now it wants to what the F&%^ any suggestions on causes. the ticking increases with engine rpms but when your driving and let off the gas it almost dissappears. i read many threads and believe it lifter ticking but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Get revised or 3rd gen lifters, they flow oil better and don't clog.

i found what was making that ticking my egr gasket was leaking causing a ticking through my whole head. replaced now runs like a champ.
