Which starter

Ok I've beee converting my car back to awd its a Auto car and I got a 6 bolt tranny x case and torque converter and flex plate. Now I thought my car was all ready to go then I came to find out the shop said the starter won't work from the fwd turbo tranny to the awd. I mean he's actually saying that the bolts don't line up. And from what I've herd is that all the 1g turbo starter are the same between the years could someone help me figure this out because I think he's just trying to get some extra money outta me

The starters are the same. I just changed one that came from a AWD and put it in a 90 FWD. It worked just fine and nothing was different from either starter (connections ect.)
