OK I snaped an alternator belt the other night and the overfill coolent was stemaing, I figured this cuz the water pump stoped moving, I finally replace the belt and its still smokin or steaming out of the overfill bottole, what could cause this.

If the water pump was not spinning than it is likely the engine overheated. This would cause a warped head with the final result being a blown headgasket. :(

Check for oil/coolant sludge under the oil cap/on the dipstick/ under the radiator cap.
Check for white smoke coming out of the exhaust.
Run a compression test.

Let us know how it turns out.

this happened to me before. i found the problem to be the radiator fan fuse. just double check to make sure it isnt something stupid like that.

good luck

the car seems to run fine though at idle and under boost everthing seems to be normal, and even when it starts smoking /boiling the coolent my water temp gauge is at normal temp

Did you check the three things I listed above?

Your symptoms could also indicate a bad radiator cap but I find it unusual this only started happening after you snapped the water pump belt.

I checked the oil and I checked under the oil cap and It just looks like oil though I cant tell mobil syntetic is supose to be dark but right now it jusat looks like regular oil. I looked under the radator cap and its dry and I did not see anything unusal.

um, last timei checked, the water pump is rotated by the timing belt

how does the radiator cap work? at a certain psi, it opens and sends steam and water to the over flow, the boilin you see, is probly steam vapors, comming out ot the tube in the overflow and bubbling to the top

The water pump is NOT rotated by the timing belt:

The water pump is run off the same belt as the alternator.

I mentioned the radiator cap because it is what keeps the cooling system pressurized. While pressurized the boiling point is raised, so if the cap goes bad than the coolant will boil easier and shoot to the overflow.

Good luck with your problem.
