Has anybody else heard of this. I plugged in my rear O2 sensor after doing the installation of my wide band with the battery hooked back up to the car. When I went to start the car it didn't want to run very well....I looked at my AFC and there was no power to it.

Could I have fried my ECU by doing this? I am quite carefull about doing electrical work on my car. But I thought nothing of hooking up my O2 sensor after hooking up the battery. But I can't see anything else wrong and I never touched the ECU harness other than to remove the wire for the narrow band sensor.

Verify how far up the AFC harness you have power if at all. Mine did the same thing after messing with my ECU, and I had dislodged the connector INSIDE the AFC.

I will check that Lando. The reason I ask such an obscure question is a heard something about this a few years back and I dismissed it as impossible to happen....but now that I may have done it ....it is the only thing that comes to mind. I unplug sensor's all the time and nothing happens. Why now?
